Nearly 70 vendors will be featured including live demonstrations of heritage arts & crafts. You’ll see quilters, wood carvers, canoe builders and even a live, working gem mining flume. They will all be setup on the sidewalks and in front of businesses giving everyone easy access to them.
Many other events are planned including a firetruck display and face painting for the kids, Plus with it being a celebration of Appalachia, you’ll be hearing a lot of music from guitar to dulcimer, banjo to flute and even piano at the Gazebo on the Square as well as in front of Wells Fargo.
As you can see there is so much to do but … take your time and leisurely walk up and down the sidewalks and take in what makes Franklin a true small town treasure. The Hometown Heritage Festival is great, FREE FUN for all ages.
