A world class singer, Rick StJames (www.rickstjames.com) performs the music of Rod Stewart and brings down the house with his salute to Rod’s American and British rock, Motown, Soul and Rhythm and Blues Classics. Rick’s strong renditions of The Great American Songbook standards are another example of his unique versatility. A true singers singer, Rick has toured and recorded extensively all over the world. Rod Stewart’s flamboyance, his pop rock, soul and folk influences allow Rick to be eclectic on stage and give the audience what it wants. This veteran will have you standing and screaming encore after encore.
Rick has toured different parts of the world with and opened for such artists as Fleetwood Mac, Mick Jones (Foreigner) Joe Walsh (Eagles, James Gang), Black Sabbath, ELO, Blondie, The Ramones, Rod Stewart, Deep Purple’s Tommy Bolin, Vinny Appice, Foghat, Joe Cocker, Jason Bonham, Danger Danger, Bette Midler, Lita Ford, Iggy Pop, to name a few,. All this happened at an early age and because he loved British rock, he moved to England. He sharpened his skills by singing with English musicians, ultimately touring Europe with metal rockers Black Widow.
